2-DAYS GUIDED FULL-BOARD TAXILA & KHANPUR DAM TRIP

(Lahore – Taxila – Ruins - Khanpur Dam-Mabali Resort- Lahore)

ITINERARY :

DAY 1  

Early morning, pick up from the designated point and start the journey towards Taxila via Motorway. Reach Taxila in 6 hrs. Lunch at Taxila. Then visit Taxila Museum First (Taxila Museum is located at Taxila, Punjab, Pakistan. The museum is home to a significant and comprehensive collection of Gandharan art dating from the 1st to the 7th centuries CE. Most objects in the collection were excavated from the ruins of ancient Taxila). 

Our next stop at Ancient Ruins (When it comes to ancient history, Pakistan contains its fair share of treasures, one of the prominent of these being the ancient metropolis of Taxila. It is a city of the Gandharan civilization, sometimes known as one of its capitals, whose history can be traced from early microlithic communities at the Khanpur caves up to almost 1000 CE. Taxila was a hub of Buddhism, a center of learning, an urban metropolis and a meeting point of various cultures, namely the Achaemenids, Greeks, Mauryans, Scythians, Parthians, Kushans, Huns and eventually the Muslims.).

Our next stop will be at Khanpur Dam Army Resort (Khanpur Dam is a dam located on the Haro River near Potowar Plateau in Tehsil Khanpur, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan).

Depart for Hotel Check-In. 

BBQ Dinner at Mabali Island / Canadian Resort with Bon-fire & Music. 

Night stay at Resort.

DAY 2

Early morning Tourists gather at Mabali Island Resort / Canadian Resort.

Open Air Breakfast. 

Unlimited Water Sports Activities (Boat Ride, Jet Ski with Instructor, Zipline, Air Gun Shooting, Archery & Sofa Tube Ride) 

Afternoon Depart for Lahore. En-route Lunch. Reach Lahore in the evening.

End of Tour.
