The Karakorum is actually a Turkish word that means black rocks this excellent and impressive setup of dark brown rocks in very rare mountain ranges. It houses the largest collection of very high pinnacles and mountains in the world stretching for 400km. This construction has 25km depth and surrounded by Shyok River in the east and Gilgit River in the west. The Karakorum has special significance for its fractured rocks.

Islamabad to Chilas, we will reach Airport early in the morning for the flight to Skardu if the weather allows us, most of the flights often cancel due to bad weather conditions… The alternate way in case of cancelation of flight by road via KKH (Karakorum Highway) world highest elevated paved roads in the world. It is an adventurous journey over the lofty mountainous track while observing the type locality on the edge of slopes. The road passes through historical Town Taxila, and lush green Hazara Division, Abbottabad, Mansehra Besham, Dassu, and Kohistan…    This journey will continue for 12 to 14 hours to reach Chilas. DAY 3

Chilas to Skardu, Baltistan is the northeastern region of Pakistan located at the elevation of 2500m from the sea level sandwiched between China and Indian held Kashmir bifurcated by the mighty Indus River. The region blessed by 100 peaks more than 7000 meters.

The origin of Balti people from Tibet, they used to practice animism and shamanism. Around 4th AD the Buddhism spread the entire region from Swat to Baltistan and Ladakh from there on to Tibet. Baltistan was ruled by Tibetan in the eighth-century till the eleventh century. By the eleventh century, the region becomes an independent kingdom as equal to Kashmir in strength. In seventeenth-century Islam began to spread in Baltistan by way of Kashmir …

Baltistan was divided by four kingdoms, Skardu, Shigar, Khaplu, and Rondu. In 1840 raja of Jammu Kashmir Gulab Singh imprisoned the reigning raja of Baltistan Ahmad Shah. Independence of Baltistan was ended and maharaja of Kashmir ruled Baltistan for 107 years...overnight at Skardu Town …

Trek Hushe to Saiecho, get up early morning and start the trek towards Saiecho to avoid the day heat along with Hushe River … It is a moderate partly flat trekking approximately 5 to 6 hours at the elevation of 3350m above the sea level…Follow the east bank of the Hushe River along on a flat, easy path through fields of barley and peas, then turn east to follow Charaksa River…At Shaitcho, the Charaksa valley joins Gondoghoeo…

DAY 6

Saiecho to SpangSar 5 to 6 hours moderate trekking from where you can see the sharp spires of K7 and Link Sar …. Overnight at SpangSar …

DAY 7

SpangSar to K6, K7 Base Camp 4 to 5 hours, continue walking through ablation valley… The camp is located at the elevation of 4600 m, moderate trekking …

DAY 8

Morning time explore K6, K7 afternoon trek back to SpangSar …

Back to Hushe valley. Overnight at camp...

Drive to Skardu Town check in Hotel
